
The Nigg Post Office, located on the Corentyne Coast in the Berbice Postal District, was opened on December 1, 1877, at the Telegraph Office, having been transferred from Fyrish. It became a money order office on May 2, 1887, with R. Bourne serving as Postmaster in 1892.
The following are the Date Stamps used at Nigg with EKD prior to 22 January 1901, the day marking the end of the reign of Queen Victoria.
