The Leonora Post Office, located in the village of Leonora on the West Coast of Demerara, 9 miles from Vreed-en-Hoop, was opened on March 1, 1880, at the Telegraph Station after being transferred from Anna Catharina. It served the local community with C. Hollingworth as Postmaster in 1892.

The following are the Date Stamps used at Leonora with EKD prior to 22 January 1901, the day marking the end of the reign of Queen Victoria.
