EKD: 3 Mar 1886 / LKD: 24 Oct 1897

The Puruni Circular Date Stamp (C.D.S) was used at Barnard’s Landing. It is a Panda Type E12 postmark.  The Panda Type E12 is Single Ring (S.R.) 22 – 23.5 mm with Protective Corners. 2 L.D. with Y.I.F. British Guiana at foot.

The Panda Type E12.9 is cataloged as Type 8 and listd as “Very Rare” in The Postage Stamps and Postal History of British Guiana by Townsend & Howe.

The Puruni Circular Date Stamp (C.D.S) was used at Barnard’s Landing. It is a Panda Type E27 postmark.  The Panda Type E27 is Single Ring (S.R.) 27-28 mm. 3 L.D. with Y.I.F. and Y.A. B. Guiana. (a period after Guiana) at foot
