
The Taymouth Manor Post Office, located in the Essequibo or ‘Arabian’ Coast Postal District, was opened by 1877 after being moved from Queenstown in that same year. It was upgraded to a money order office on January 1, 1886. The office remained in operation until January 1, 1932, when it returned as a Postal Agency at Queenstown.

This Taymouth Manor Circular Date Stamp (C.D.S.) is a Panda Type E11 postmark. The Panda Type E11 is Double Ring (D.R.) 23.5 – 24.5 / 13.5 – 14.5 mm with dividing dots separating office from colony. 2 L.D. with Y.A. B. Guiana at foot.
